In Hyper sudoku you get additional areas in the sudoku puzzle that have a separate color, which should also contain all the unique numbers (1-4, 1-6, 1-8 or 1-9)

There are four different sudoku types in this module:

• 4×4 Hyper Sudoku – This adds a bit of percepted complexity to the smallest sudokus (our unique design)
• 6×6 Hyper Sudoku – 3 additional subgrids, creating a whole new puzzle. This is also called sixy sudoku (a popular puzzle in newspapers)
• 8×8 Hyper Sudoku – 2 additional 2×4 subgrids, each overlapping with 4 of the regular 2×4 subgrids (our unique design)
• 9×9 Arrow Sudoku – 4 arrow shaped subgrids, each of which overlaps with 4 of the regular 3×3 subgrids.

The difficulty levels have been balanced according to https://help.bookpublishertools.com/faqs/sudoku-difficulty-levels. Because the hyper areas act as additional clues, there are fewer numbers in the sudoku than in regular sudokus.

Each puzzle is created randomly, following the rules of sudoku puzzles:

• The numbers are placed exactly once in each row, column or region for each overlapping grid
• Numbers (regions) that are part of more than one grid, have to match in each grid
• Each puzzle has exactly one single solution
• Difficulty levels are based on the logical operations to solve the puzzle, such as removing numbers that are already used, using the only square where a given number can be placed, and advanced rules such as naked or hidden pairs, triples and quads, X-Wing, simple coloring, and more.

Ease of Use

It’s easy to use – all our sudoku modules are available in the Sudoku Variations module in Puzzle Maker Pro. You can select your licensed variations or demo the other variations before purchase.

To create your sudokus:

• Select the grid size (e.g. 6×6)
• Select the variation (Hyper Sudoku)
• Optionally change the settings to create image, letter or Roman numeral sudokus
• Customize the style, change difficulty level, etc
• Click “Preview” to see a new puzzle with the current settings
• Click “Create” to generate any number of puzzles right away

The generated puzzles will be stored on your computer.

You can use any TrueType font that’s installed on your computer, change colors, line weight, and more, to create sudokus in your own unique style. By using the Preview button, you can see a sudoku puzzle and solution with the new style right away.

Like any Puzzle Maker Pro module, this module will create the puzzles and solutions as image files (JPG or PNG) at 300 DPI on your computer. Lightning fast.
