Description

Code Search is a puzzle type where you have to find a list of codes in the puzzle grid. Codes can appear just once or multiple times – this is shown for each code. It is a bit like word search, with randomized codes. This is a great addition for your puzzle books and activity books, or even for specialized code search puzzle books.

Number Search creates Number Search puzzles with regular numbers or Roman numerals.

You can set the range of numbers and even how many numbers to select randomly from that range. For example, just use 5 numbers between 1 and 100. These numbers are selected randomly for each single puzzle that is generated. Roman numerals have a maximum range of 1 to 3999.

Color Code Search creates Color Code Search puzzles with your own colors. You can choose the colors, or select random colors.

You can also choose how many colors to select randomly from the entire set. For example, just use 5 colors from a set of 25 colors. These colors are selected randomly for each single puzzle that is generated

With Letter Code Search you can create all kinds of codes with letters. Just capital letters, mix uppercase and lowercase, mix letters and numbers, add other characters, even special character sets like wingings. Besides letter code search puzzles, you can also create License Plate Search Puzzles, Password Search Puzzles, Binary Code Puzzles, and all other kinds of specialty code search puzzles.

Color Code Search creates Color Code Search puzzles with your own colors. You can choose the colors, or select random colors.

You can also choose how many colors to select randomly from the entire set. For example, just use 5 colors from a set of 25 colors. These colors are selected randomly for each single puzzle that is generated.

Additionally, you can specify how long the codes can be, and how many duplicates are allowed in the puzzle grid. The number of duplicates that can be found depends on the grid size and the number of different symbols. For example with a 15×15 grid and 4 or 5 different symbols, there will be a few duplicates, but with a 8×8 grid size and 15 different symbols, there will probably be no duplicates at all.

You can further control the complexity by allowing diagonal placement and overlapping placement of codes.

There are many options to control the layout of your puzzles and puzzle pages, including an option to export the different parts (puzzle grid, solution grid and code list) for further manual import in your own publishing software.
