π Batch-Create Missing Pieces Puzzles with the Time Saver
Overview
This tutorial shows you how to batch-generate multiple Missing Pieces puzzles using the Time Saver system in Puzzle Maker Pro. You’ll learn how to load images, configure multiple puzzle rows, and generate a full set of puzzles with just one click β using the Create (TS)
button.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Select the Missing Pieces Module
- Launch Puzzle Maker Pro
- Use the top Puzzle Type dropdown to select Missing Pieces

2. Configure the Puzzle Settings
- Go to the Settings and Style tabs
- Set up your basic puzzle logic (shapes, difficulty, solution tags, etc.)

- β No need to load images or select a custom shape here β that happens inside Time Saver
3. Open the Time Saver Tab
- Go to the Time Saver tab in the top navigation
- Make sure βUse Time Saver to generate puzzlesβ is checked

4. Use the Content Tab (Sub-Tab 1)
- Click the Content sub-tab inside Time Saver
- Load your list of images (click Add Files or drag and drop)
- These images will be used in puzzles unless you assign a specific one per row

5. Use the Puzzles Setup Tab (Sub-Tab 2)
- Go to the Puzzles Setup sub-tab
- This table controls the exact puzzle rows youβll generate
- Each row is a puzzle configuration (or variation group)

6. Add Puzzle Rows with Settings, Presets, or Custom Shapes
You can add rows in several ways using the buttons above the table:
β Add Row with Current Settings
- Adds one row using your current puzzle settings
- You can edit the row after adding it
- Click any cell to adjust: Preset, Quantity, Variations, Missing Pieces, etc.
π Add Row (Select Presets)
- Select one or more saved Presets
- Each preset becomes a row in the table
- Useful for quickly applying consistent styles or difficulty setups
𧩠Add Rows (Custom Shape)
- Choose one or more SVG files
- Each shape becomes a row
- Uses current puzzle settings by default (can be edited afterward)

7. Configure Each Row
For every row in the table, you can adjust:
- Preset: Use the current settings or pick a different one
- Quantity: How many images (or times) this row runs
- Variations: How many puzzles per image
- Content: Use the global Content tab or assign a specific image
- Missing Pieces / Solution Pieces: Customize per row
- Custom Shape: Click the cell to assign an SVG (optional)

8. Manage the Table
Use these controls to organize your setup:
- π Delete Selected β remove highlighted row(s)
- π§Ή Delete All β clear the entire table
- πΌ Row Up / π½ Row Down β reorder puzzle rows
9. Generate the Puzzle Set
- Confirm that βUse Time Saverβ is still checked
- Click the
Create (TS)
button - Puzzle Maker Pro will generate puzzles based on your table rows and save them to your output folder

Youβve generated a custom batch of puzzles using multiple configurations β each row can vary by shape, number of pieces, preset, or assigned image. This approach is ideal for automated publishing, theming, or creating puzzle collections.
