Description

For many publishers, Powerpoint is the preferred tool to create Digital Planners.

However, digital planners rely on internal links, to sections or pages. These internal links take quite a bit of work to set up and maintain, technically.

Planner Links (Plugin for Powerpoint) helps you to create and manage your links. Just add tags to the slides (pages) you want to link to. For example “Calendar”, “Address Book”, “February”, “Emergency Contacts”.

Use meaningful names to connect the buttons (shapes) and targets (slides), and generate the actual links and the supporting invisible shapes when you’re ready. Easy Peasy.

Planner Links Plugin for Powerpoint will work with your MS Windows installed version of MS Powerpoint.

Ease of Use

It’s easy:

• Open MS Powerpoint, then click the “Add-ins’ menu and look for the “Easy Journals” options.
• Click the “More Options” dropdown menu and select Planner Links.
• This will open a panel at the right of your MS Powerpoint window.

Now you’re ready to add set up the tags and links:

Step 1: Set up your tags for the targeted slides / pages

Step 2: Add these tags for the texts, shapes or buttons you want to use for navigation
